Best troll farming axe mods?
I was thinking vampiric and trollslaying , what do you guys think?
Btw: I'm a W/Mo and new to troll farming, so if there's anything better then trolls (dont have factions though) I'd love to hear what it is |

vampiric/elemental, trollslaying/enchanting. If you use Shield of Judgment, an /enchanting mod probably is just as good and a helluva lot cheaper. I certainly wouldn't invest a lot of money into Troll farming since wood and parchment are worth jack squat now.
An easy run is Iron Mines of Moladune, the guys that KD you. Just bring Dolyak Sig/Mending/HB/Shield of Judgment. They drop lots of gold hammers and runes. There are also Minotaurs at the beginning of Elona mission who drop crap, but they are super easy and fast to kill. Fissure of Woe is good, too. Just get a totem ax they are readily available for about 5k. Some people try to sell them for more but they are very common.
Easy to get for yourself if you dont want to buy. They have +5 energy, enchantments last 20% longer and are Sundering 20% Its a great troll farming ax for a warrior. |

Another vote for the Totem axe here. The 20/20 Sundering and 20% Enchantment mod make it ideal for Troll/Minotaur/Vermin farming. Plus it's got +5e and is very easy to solo farm for itself.
I have two, one for my W/Mo and another for my Mo/W! |

Any elemental haft. Trolls are resistant to slashing attacks. Plus, sundering is pure horseshit. On anything.

elemental and troll slaying would be my choice. you can farm these with just 20 energy or less. +5 energy is not needed, 15% more damage is much better for this

Though I've not tried it with an axe, nor have I tried any of the above suggestions I would suspect that an ele/trollslaying would be best. I farm them with my sword war (vamp and fort) and it works out fine, but the hits aren't all that strong.

Does it really matter what axe you use? Trolls aren't especially diffucult, unless by some chance they manage to disrupt your cyclone axe. My preffered weapon would be an elemental x of trollslaying though. If you need more health then swap the elemental for a vamp.

Nobody has mentioned Zealous yet..
For warriors, you don't have to be a Wammo to farm trolls.. stick with W/E, it's much faster, but you need both campaigns in order to farm this efficiently. And you should use Zealous with W/E.. Whirlwind + On Your Knees = Glad's Defense with no recharge. |

Totem axe / Malinon's Sheild work best for me. No energy problems due to the use of bonettis defense.
